His ‘Kanya Kavyasangrah’, comprising 101 Marathi poems on daughters, received the Rajyastariy Sant Dnyaneshwar Maulee Sahitya Puraskar 2026 at Alandi, Pune, on 23 August. His other collection, ‘Lek Ladki’, featuring 101 poems celebrating daughters and women’s empowerment, received the Udaan Award from the District Sports Office and Udaan Foundation at Ahilyanagar on 15 August 2026. Together, these works present the daughter not simply as a member of a household, but as an important emotional and social presence whose dignity, aspirations and contribution deserve recognition.

The significance of ‘Lek Ladki’ was further reflected in the setting in which the Udaan Award was presented. The honour was conferred during a cultural programme organised jointly by MY Bharat, the District Sports Office and Udaan Foundation as part of Swachhata Pakhwada celebrations on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
